Don Rosen Imports online video competition offers $3,500 in prizes, the chance for Internet superstardom
Don Rosen Imports, Philadelphia’s largest Porsche and Audi dealer, announced an online video competition called Drive – Don Rosen Imports Video Event. The contest encourages people in and around the Philadelphia area to create and submit videos expressing the slogan currently on Don Rosen Imports Web site: “Three locations. One commitment. To put you in the car of your dreams”.
“We love these cars just as much as our customers do. This competition seemed like a natural way to connect with our clients on another level and allow them to creatively express their passion for these fantastic vehicles,” said Don Rosen Imports’ Owner Jerry Miller.
Video submissions can be anywhere from :10 seconds to three minutes in length and must mention a Don Rosen Imports dealership, the company’s Web site donrosenimports.com and communicate the message that Don Rosen Imports is committed to putting customers into the car of their dreams. Submissions are being accepted now through Friday, May 1, 2009. Those who submit videos will have the opportunity to win a $2,500 cash prize. Voting for the favorite video will begin Wednesday, May 6 and run through Saturday, June 6, 2009. All voters will be entered into a sweepstakes to win a $1,000 cash prize. Prize winners will be announced on Friday, June 12, 2009.
“This contest is a new and unique way for us to reach our current clients and reach others who may be interested in driving a Porsche or Audi,” said Don Rosen Imports’ General Manager Keith Shaw. “Our hope is to see submissions from everywhere – our customers and their children, colleges, high schools – anyone with a camera and a few minutes to spare who might want to walk away with the top prize.”
A special Web site has been set up to support the competition at http://drive.donrosenimports.com. The site allows users to upload their video submissions as well as review official contest rules. Voting will be enabled beginning on May 6, 2009. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition or vote for a favorite.
The submission and voting portions of the competition will be heavily promoted through local radio advertisements, on donrosenimports.com, e-mails to current Don Rosen Imports clients and Facebook mentions.
